I`ve been told that you don`t get along with your roomate. I`m sorry to hear that, but you shouldn`t be upset, you know that Tom doesn`t get along with anyone. I suppose you know that he is my former roomate, so, I know what you`re going through.
First of all, be calm. Ignore him, if you can. He is nervous almost all of the time, I hope this won`t make him even more nervous. Don`t answer to his bad words, try to mind your own business. Then, don`t share with him your secrets. He has such a big mouth, that the next day everybody will know. And finally, if this doesn`t work, I will help you find somewhere else to stay.
